Nancy Louise Parker

Nancy L. Cook, 66, of Indianapolis, formerly of Columbus, passed from this life at 11:22 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Manor Care South in Indianapolis.

Nancy was born December 12, 1950, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Charles E. and Mary Louise Turner Parker. Nancy worked in inside sales and was a safety specialist at MSC Industrial retiring after many years of service. She was a member of United Church of God in Indianapolis. Survivors include her children, Amy Cook of Franklin, Charles (Shelly) Cook of Greenwood, and David (Jaime) Cook of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; brothers, James (Jean) Parker of Greensburg, John Parker of Avon, and David Parker of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, 4205 Jonathan Moore Pike in Columbus. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of charities.
